The Early Stage Legal Learning Center

Welcome to the Early Stage Legal Learning Center.  Here we strive to educate entrepreneurs so that they will be able to create successful new companies and startups.  We have compiled information on a broad range of relevant topics.  Because we have experience working with thousands of entrepreneurs and startups, we have also included anecdotes and experiences wherever possible.  We also believe that different people learn in different ways, so for most topics, we try to include the following:

  • A glossary-like overview of the key concepts
  • Detailed written explanations including definitions, examples, decision frameworks, and links to related content
  • Video summaries of concepts--we haven't invested a lot of time in making them movie-quality but the videos are concise and concepts should be clear
  • Wherever possible, we have also included downloadable tools, files, materials, and templates to help you engage with the content
